"Li Ragnitill"
A Borgo is a cluster of homes that have coexisted for decades or centuries and has given a sense of identity to the residents. Often named in the local dialect “Li Ragnitill” is a bit of a mystery. No one knows for sure the origins of the name RAGNITILL which means little spider but we have embraced it and are proud to preserve it. Our corner of the RAGNITILL is home to the Di Bucchianico Family. Be sure to say hi to grandparents, aunts uncles, and cousins who are happy to share their stories of the last 5 generations including intense experiences during the Libyan War and WW2 when the Borgo was established as the base camp for the Germans and Allies. We are located about 3km from the city center of LANCIANO a beautiful town of 34 000 inhabitants most famous as the home of THE MIRACLE of LANCIANO.
Raising a Family
I feel so blessed to have raised our daughters in Abruzzo. The region is a gift that keeps on giving. We have had so many beautiful experiences and discoveries and still many more to yet be explored,
